COMMUNITY FILM WORKSHOP OF CHICAGO SHOWCASE

November 7 | For more than five decades, the Community Film Workshop of Chicago (CFWC) has championed Black filmmakers and artists of color through education, mentorship, and independent production. This special showcase celebrates the enduring legacy of one of Chicago’s most influential media arts organizations, highlighting new work created by CFWC fellows while honoring generations of artists who have helped shape the city’s independent film landscape. The screening will be followed by a CFWC reception with popcorn, refreshments, and an opportunity to celebrate participating filmmakers.

The Film Center is ADA accessible. This presentation will be projected without open captions. The theater is hearing-loop equipped. For accessibility requests, please email filmcenter@saic.edu
