Xiya Liu is an dog person, filmmaker and production designer. She has background in fashion design and MFA in Film, Video, New Media and Animation in School of Art Institute of Chicago. She has produced works which ranges from experimental short-film and documentaries to installations and sculptures, and which, relying on her own experiences and practice, aims to take a feminist approach to reproductive Asian culture and language.
