Amanda Eve Heidt


Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts Degree

Amanda Heidt is a printmaker, educator, and community arts advocate based in Fargo, North Dakota. Originally from Bismarck, she serves as the Artist Researcher and Studio Coordinator for PEARS (Printmaking Education and Research Studio) at North Dakota State University, where she teaches printmaking and contemporary art theory.

A graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead (BFA, Printmaking, 2012), Heidt has completed residencies at Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop (NYC) and Zea Mays Printmaking (MA). She previously managed the Hannaher’s, Inc. Print Studio at the Plains Art Museum for over a decade, curating programs and workshops.

Currently an MFA candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (Low-Res, 2025), Heidt’s work explores gifting, craft, and materiality. Her practice is supported by a North Dakota Council on the Arts Fellowship, a grant from The Arts Partnership in Fargo, North Dakota, and scholarships to Ox-Bow School of Craft, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
