In this body of work, I explore the intersection between physical urban landscapes and the virtual realm. My paintings present cities not as they appear, but as abstracted, futuristic visions—a juxtaposition of familiar structures and speculative spaces. The colored capsules in my compositions echo the shape of city windows at night, creating an organized, gridded framework that reflects the regimented nature of both the physical and digital worlds. My process is meticulous and industrial, akin to sign-making. I design each piece digitally, craft stencils using a laser cutter, and apply spray paint through these stencils to build the final composition. Occasionally, I use a sponge brush and acrylic to add a different texture or depth. The palette I use is largely monochromatic, broken up by touches of vivid color, aiming to evoke a sense of cold neutrality—a reflection of the detached, almost sterile environments of urban spaces and futuristic narratives. Through this blending of precision and abstraction, I invite viewers to contemplate the evolving relationship between the urban experience and the increasingly digitized world we inhabit.
