James Baroz

Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Photography

James Baroz (b. 2000; Ripton, VT) is a photographer whose works are often visual metaphors for the unseen human connections that are evidently present. Working alongside our world’s natural laws of physics, Baroz is curious about the ways in which phenomena and curiosity intersect to explore methodologies which heighten our sensitivity. At SAIC, Baroz was recently awarded the James Weinstein Memorial Fellowship. He holds a BA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and is currently pursuing a MFA in Photography from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
