Claudia Pérez Ulloa

Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects

Claudia is a multidisciplinary designer from Guadalajara, Mexico, passionate about the relationship between objects, materials, and cultural identity. Her work explores how design shapes experiences, emphasizing the connection between function, narrative, and materiality. She is particularly interested in the performative nature of objects and the in-betweenness of perception—how we construct reality through our interactions with objects, space, and form.

Her design approach is driven by curiosity, experimentation, and a deep appreciation for the transformative potential of materials. She creates joyful objects that invite playful interactions, fostering connection and sensory engagement. Cultural heritage and identity play a central role in her process, guiding the way she interprets and reimagines how objects can generate joy, surprise, and new connections, bridging past and present through materiality and design.
