Fiona Nellist

Bachelors of Fine Art

Most of Fiona’s concepts are based on human interaction with nature, the effect humans have had on their environments, and a representation of these consequences through an abstract blend of human parts and plant-like features. Fiona studies the more minute features of life. She is interested in anatomy and the human stream of consciousness. She ponders what it means to be alive and how we process the world around us. She tries to find the beauty in the obscure or the inconspicuous.
