Kristen Lee is a gemini and she’s not a fan of mosquitoes.

Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kristen Lee is a storyteller based in the Windy City—Chicago. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2023, where she is currently a Writing MFA candidate. Her work mainly focuses on the human experience and often arises in the form of a semi-autobiography.

Though she takes an interdisciplinary approach to her work, she is most comfortable working with comics and writing.

She has published work in Xerox Candy Bar, F Newsmagazine, Mouth Magazine and the Phoney Phacades anthology (2022). She has also helped curate and was a part of an exhibition at the John M Flaxman Library. She is currently working on her grad thesis comic – “Grad School”
