Marley Jane Anderson
Watching from the stained glass windows of the “church on the hill,” I watched the small farm community I was growing up with slowly fading away before me. The desire to stop any further loss to my hometown, and communities like it, shaped my passion for preserving history and cultural heritage. I am dedicated to the hidden architectural gems that can be used to revitalize small Midwest towns, ensuring their stories and craftsmanship endure, and reconnect the local community with their living history. As a stained glass conservator and classical oil painter, my personal practice blends traditional techniques with contemporary vision, honoring the past while giving new life to forgotten places and the histories they hold.
