MinJi Park
Minji Park is a designer and artist pursuing an MFA in Visual Communication Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from Seoul National University and studied abroad at Chelsea College of Arts, UAL. My practice explores the intersection of graphic design, artist books, and curation, with a focus on materiality, tactility, and storytelling. I was awarded the New Artist Society Scholarship and the Fung Scholarship Award (2018) and have lived in Seoul, Chicago, and London. I have exhibited at the John Flash Artist Book Showcase (2024) and Sewoon Illustration: Drawing Exhibition (2022), and have worked as a graphic designer at the Design Museum of Chicago. I am dedicated to building connections between space, material, and sensory experiences, continually pushing the boundaries between art and design.
