Phoebe (Guyuzi) Chen is a Chinese interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago, working in installation, sculpture, photography, and performance. She is a BFA student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and her work explores spatial relationships within the themes of social dynamics, ecological transformation, and post-humanism. By creating immersive environments and interactive structures with a mix of found and bio-materials, she examines how space, materiality, and the body respond to ecological and technological changes. Her work has been exhibited internationally in China, Italy, and the United States, with installations featured in galleries, experimental spaces, and site-specific projects.
