Sarah Lutkenhaus is an experimental sound artist based in Chicago. She uses modular synthesis, field recordings, and vocal improvisation to build layered compositions. The work explores emotional extremes, physical limitations, and vulnerability of the human experience in daily life. She received a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, and is pursuing an MFA in Sound Studies from the School of the Art Insitute of Chicago.
