I am an artist and visual designer with a practice that focuses on storytelling through multiple different mediums and visual styles.
Originally from Mumbai, India, I am currently based in Chicago and pursuing my MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. A significant part of my interdisciplinary work involves the retelling of folktales and mythological stories, offering fresh perspectives and contemporary interpretations of them. I am particularly drawn to narratives that have been marginalized or overlooked. By inserting myself and my ideologies into fictional stories, history and lore, I create a space that allows me to re-imagine narratives in more contemporary light.
