My process starts with the intrinsic properties of graphite and charcoal, which incite a direct and intimate engagement with the medium. These moments of spontaneity captivate his manipulation of lines, forms, and lifelike depictions, subsequently arousing an interest in the portrayal of volume and the sensation of pressure. The essence of his work is a synthesis of sensory experiences, amalgamating a diversity of perceptions and emotions. Elements within his compositions are deeply rooted in childhood memories of art and early visual impressions, offering viewers a transformation from the concrete to the abstract, from order to chaos. This transition symbolizes the psychological and emotional evolution of an individual within a broad socio-cultural context. Interactions and juxtapositions among various forms within the drawings reveal the boundaries and convergences between the individual and the collective, the normal and the aberrant. This is a reflection of the artist’s response to his own circumstances, marking his commentary on the dynamics of personal and communal identities.
