Ingrid Lin

Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design)

Ingrid Lin is a visual designer from Taiwan, currently based in Chicago. She holds a BA in Product Design from Chung Gung University in Taiwan and is pursuing an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Her practice explores non-verbal pictorial books, artist books, and packaging design. Non-verbal books communicate with a wider range of readers across different ages and languages. Without textual limitations, they can reach a broader audience. Through non-verbal communication, readers become more aware of emotions, facial expressions, and body language.
The Loop of Egg and Chicken, one of the artist’s books created in a special circular accordion book format, was featured in the John Flash Artist Book Collection in 2025.
