Cat Bowyer

Cat Bowyer (b.1988, Indiana) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Chicago, IL. They create works across mediums from illustrative narratives on cloth and paper to femme-tastical objects in metal and sculpture. They use experimental dye and print methods alongside collage and assemblage creating queer clues into another world. Bowyer received their BA in Studio Art and Visual Art Education with a minor in Art History from Purdue University. In 2022, Bowyer secured their first solo exhibition, following a residency at Baby Blue Gallery in Chicago.
