Farhan Ahmed Showmik

Coming from a third-world country, resources were limited and not vast. After spending several years exploring his creative mind and writing stories, Farhan Ahmed Showmik entered the filmmaking world when he arrived in America. Through several courses and learning from great filmmakers at his university, he has slowly developed his skills. With the skills and knowledge he gained, he has written and directed several projects over the past few years. From narrative pieces exploring the mental psyche to experimenting with colors and sound in abstract works, he has spanned different genres and stories. Even after entering the film space, he continues to write stories, which he further develops into his projects. As of now, he is forming his own production company and developing the first proper project under the banner. He hopes for the production company to establish him in the film industry while expanding his reach and ambition.
