Isaiah Lee is an artist and educator from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, currently based in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Central Missouri and began his career teaching middle school before shifting his focus toward working with older students and emerging artists. Lee has curated a number of exhibitions in artist-run spaces and founded the Chicago Critique Group, a community-driven platform that provides artists with purposeful feedback to support the development of their studio practices. He served as one of two curators of “It Will Destroy You”, an exhibition presented at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in February 2026 that featured over 20 artists.
