Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Sculpture

Sascha Huth graduated from the University of the Arts Berlin and later worked and studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, supported by a DAAD fellowship in the Department of Sculpture. In 2026, he continues his practice at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York.

His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art (Chicago, US), König Galerie (Berlin, DE), Art Biesenthal (Biesenthal, DE), On Curating (Zurich, CH), Geidai (Tokyo, JP), Kiralik Depo (Istanbul, TUR), and Tatjana Pieters Gallery (Ghent, BE), among others.

Interventions occupy sites and confront the ever-expanding world of commodities. Materials are sourced from sidewalks, institutions, and corporations, where byproducts, surplus, and waste become origins for inspiration, manipulation, and transformation. The practice relies on repetition, rehearsal, and dedication as it oscillates between industrialism and vandalism.
