Chicago-based designer and artist, currently completing a Master of Design in Designed Objects at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The practice explores how everyday objects influence emotions, behavior, and daily life, with a focus on personal attachment, memory, and habits.
Work is developed through materials such as wood, metal, and soft textiles, creating tactile and simple objects. Projects often focus on themes of clutter, organization, and personal value, as well as the balance between what is visible and what is hidden.
The goal is to create objects that feel close and familiar, becoming a natural part of everyday experience.
Burning of Time
This object reflects on the fleeting nature of time. The soft velvet surface holds the watch gently, while the wooden structure suggests stability and permanence. Together, they create a contrast between something that feels lasting and something that is constantly disappearing. The title “Burning of Time” refers to the idea that time is always being consumed, even when it feels still. The object becomes a quiet reminder of how quickly moments pass and how we choose to hold onto them.
Fragile Balance
This table is inspired by the philosophy of war, where no side truly wins. Even in victory, both sides experience loss, damage, and destruction. The chess-like surface reflects strategy and conflict, but instead of stability, the structure appears fragmented and unstable. The wooden elements begin to break apart, suggesting the collapse that follows conflict. Despite this, four metal cubes hold the structure together, preventing it from fully falling apart. These elements represent forces that temporarily maintain order within chaos. The object reflects on the idea that conflict always leaves lasting consequences, and that stability after destruction is fragile and incomplete.
