Zach Dobbins (b. 1999, San Diego, CA) is a sculptor and installation artist based in Chicago. Through object interventions, he explores fatigue and failure as frameworks for understanding identity, masculinity, and inherited structures of power. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Bread & Salt Gallery, and the Dittmar Gallery in Chicago, and he has been an artist-in-residence at Bread & Salt. Dobbins holds a BFA from Florida State University, and is currently pursuing his MFA in Sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
